Millennium Soccer Association Academy

• Summer 2007, Millennium Soccer Association's Academy will begin with ages U-6 thru U-9. There will be NO tryouts, just apply and cadets will receive age appropriate training.
• U-6 through U-9 will be set up to play small sided games and all teams will be arranged in consecutive age brackets U-6 thru U-9. Depending on numbers. This allows each team to keep kids their own age and grow together.
• Academy teams will be considered Recreation while they are learning. Since there are NO tryouts, we will have various skill levels. Our goal is to bring beginners to a competitive level and continue to challenge those kids that have already started to excel but are not yet ready for a Premier level.
• Cadets will be evaluated and identified for Premier Travel. No obligation will be forced on any child who may become identified. Our goal is to provide the highest level of training to every age and allow every child the opportunity to progress as far as they would like to.
• Summer session's may be "in club" for all age groups. Multi family member discounts available.
• Sign ups will be at all Millennium Soccer Association Tryout locations.                 

Fee's and Dates

     The Millennium Soccer Club of Northwest Indiana will present their annual summer Soccer Academy at Saint’s Constantine & Helen Greek Church located at 8000 Madison St, Merrillville, IN.  Interested boys and girls ages 6 through 9 are invited to participate.

     The Five-week academy will be held on Mondays and Fridays from 5 to 6:30 pm, starting September 6, ending October 10. The fee is $100, and all participants will receive an Academy T-shirt and soccer ball along with highly qualified instruction under the experienced direction of Jereme Rainwater, the head coach of the Lake Central Varsity Boy’s Soccer team. 

     Registration will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, June 4; Wednesday, June 6; and Thursday, June 7 at Saint’s Constantine & Helen Greek Church.  Although no try-outs for the academy are required, registration is simultaneously occurring with the U10 through U14 boys and girls Millennium Soccer evaluations for the fall 2007 season.

     Participants can also sign-up on-line at www.millenniumsoccer.net.  Late registration will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis until the Soccer Academy is full or September 10, whichever occurs first.
