Get the Kids Back on the Field

The MSA Blues U-16/18 Boys teams are in their second year and looking forward to what should be an exceptional experience. Anyone interested in becoming an MSA Blues player needs to contact either Coach Austin for U-18's or Coach Lauridsen for the U-17's. Below will explain our older program and what our goals are.

What Millennium is attempting in this upcoming Season is to provide what should be the highest competition at the lowest amount of money. Keeping to the "kids first" mentality, though not necessarily "kids" our young men will get to experience College and some Semi-Pro quality games while our younger of the two will gain added benefits from this program.

Our U-18's will be set up with many friendly games against Colleges and Semi-Pro games. What this will do is allow Colleges and Clubs to get to see our young men in action against the very level of players they may be playing with. Our players will have a better understanding of what may be needed to move forward with their next level soccer career. Everyone will win. Our players will get looked at by the next level of play, and the Coaches from these programs will get to see players they may not other know about. We will also be able to take selected U-17 players on these trips, which will aid them in seeing what is out there and allowing Coaches and Scouts to see what will be coming. Our U-18 team will also take part in select tournaments along with applying to the coveted State Cup tournament.

Our U-17's will take part in League play, Tournaments, and select players will also take part with the U-18's and their journey's. We want to be able to allow our U-17's the ability to take their game to the highest level of play, and still allow them to grow within their own age group. Allowing the two programs to intertwine with one another and giving all our players the ability to challenge themselves will only benefit the players involved in the long run.

The Blues Trainers, Coach Travis Waters and Coach JR Rosenbaum will be able to bring much knowledge and experience to the players involved within this program. Coach Waters being a former player at Western Michigan and Coach Rosenbaum a former player at North Central knows what preparation will be needed to get our players ready for both High School and beyond.

We at Millennium Soccer Association are very excited for our young men's program and hope that it can bring everything we anticipate. We expect our players to be committed to their teams and work hard not for us, but for themselves. Welcome to the Millennium Soccer Association Blues teams home page.
